Yes - the remote host dropped the connection.
The .net file isn't a newer one. This one is from this morning (CET), but I don't think it will work, since it doesn't contain very many ip addresses. ftp://anonymous:anonymous@whitedrag...rg/gnutella.net
That url does not work for me(?)
First try entering router4.limewire.com : 6346 in the connections tab manually ( or 64.61.25.171 : 6346 if your DNS is down).
Did you try restarting LimeWire? - If it still doesn't connect, - check your connection first and then you may put the blame on LimeWire. | Aha! Thank you - that gave me some connections straight away. BTW, I am not blaming Limewire! I did not indicate that in my post ... I think that the problem's net-based, not client based. Given the amount of useless gack clogging up the internet, I'm rather impressed it works at all.
Besides; having to portion out blame is a rather sad way of being, methinks ... I tend not to subscribe to that.
