Default I need alot of help

If you can help out please....

I just downloaded Limewire 4.9.11 I opened it and put the firewall settings in they require. I tried to search and it keeps telling me something about no connection possibly due to a firewall. I turned off my firewall and it still will not work....any ideas?

I am using Windows XP and Norton Antiu Virus 2004 with all the updates on both...?

Please help...any and all information in greatly appreciated.

Oui. Do you have another firewall? ZoneAlarm? Windows XP SP2? Do you connect at home or work/university?

Do you have a router? Did you tried deleting the .limewire folder?

There are SO many possible reasons, search the forum.

Bonne chance

If you decide to do the port forwarding (open a port Start with step one on that page & click the link which will show you how to set up a static ip. This is probably the most important step. Get this step wrong & the whole process won't work after you reconnect. So you would click the brown link in step 1 before continuing onto step 2.
