Connection Problems Problems getting the LimeWire or WireShare program connecting to the Gnutella network.

No connection Enabling Opening BLAH BLAH BLAH . . . i really need help because i like how limewire works and have not found anything else exactly like it . have a dial-up connection have tried opening the ports tried turning off firewall tried opening ports from 6346 to 6349 i dont really now this stuff about ports so HELP! |

dont change your settings too much you might screwup your internet connection. All you should have to do is make sure your modem is on and that you are indeed connected to the net while in Limewire. what do you have for a internet provider? Are you in windows? what version of Limewire are you running? If all else fails for you try to do a clean install of Limewire. I dont advice you to open up ports because that allows for hackers to get in your computer system. you shouldnt need to do all that to get Limewire to run. |
