Default Delayed Action Disconnection

When I start Limewire, everything is fine.
I start downloading off people and then people start uploading from me. Great. Love the speed. Love everything.
Unfortunately, after an unspecified amount of time, usually between 1 - 4 Hours everything goes to 0KB and I then have to turn off the router and switch it back on to get my internet connection back.
I use Windows xp and my router is a Solwise SAR-600EW wireless router.
I am assuming that because everything starts off fine it is not a firewall problem.
I am hoping someone can help solve this mystery.

It appears to be a problem with the UPnP technology in LimeWire I have a similar problem when running in UPnP mode. It does not appear to happen when I port forward though you might want to give that a try. The link below can help you with port forwarding.

Grandpa

Thanks for your reply.
I don't know much about routers but when I logged in
and had a look at upnp, it seems that it is not enabled,
whatever upnp is.
I have forwarded 'user' ports and made rules on the router
for limewire, but every one on this forum just says you need
to forward ports.
When I click on forward ports I am confonted with a list to choose from.

GAMES
VPN
AUDIO/VIDEO
APPS
SERVERS
USER

Which one do I apply rules to.
I have assumed it is user, but I could be wrong
I started limewire while I was looking at the forum
and it only lasted 32 minutes. Shortest time yet

Thanking you for your help
