Its 1:05 Am Hellp Meeee!!!

All of the sudden out of nowhere limewire decided to stop working. I get this messege everytime i try to start it.

"Limewire was unable to initalize and start. This is usually due to a firewall program blocking Limewire's access to the internet or loopback connections to the local machine. Please allow limewire access to the internet and restart lime wire."

Ive had limewire 4.9.23 for a 2 days and this has never happened in any of the previous versions i had. I already added the Gnutella ports in the winxp firewall as exceptions and deleated the .limewire folder and it still wont work.

When you deleted the .limewire folder, was LW closed? LW must be closed before you do this. A reboot & then deleting the .limewire folder may do the trick. But don't open LW until after you've deleted the .limewire folder.

Limewire wont start. Period. So of course i deleated the .limewire folder while LW was closed.

Hmm well if you haven't installed anything else between the old version & this one ... then perhaps you should try the beta 4.9.24; http://www.limewire.com/english/content/beta.shtml So far there's been good reports about it: http://www.gnutellaforums.com/showth...threadid=43703
