Alrtight i gotta 56k modem and right wen i log on it say"connection is very strong" but then i start to download 2 songs and it goes to one bar. Then wen im done it goes bak to 5 bars wats up wit that

I am not on dial up so I really do not know I do not recall seeing this problem before. I am assuming you are connecting as a leaf do you remember when you configured Limewire if you put your connection speed as dial up.

well my dl is really reallt slow but i thought it was cuz of the modem

With 56k it is going to be slow it should be around 5 or 6kb I believe.
