check the last link in my signature. we're working on using a proxy service called Tor to bypass corporate/college firewalls.

Question

I downloaded tor and the privoxy then followed the directions and still nothing worked. I am not getting errors from limewire itself anymore but I am not able to connect either. Does it matter what Tor you download?

you need a specific type for your operating system (Mac users use Tor for Mac, Windows use Windows, etc.)

I did specify the operating system. I use windows but there are two different dowloads after the word windows. Do I need to download both?

i picked the first one. im having problems running limewire through tor. i did it earlier. it appears the tor people's routers are blocking 6346/tcp from connecting to limewire

ive spent about 20 minutes to attempt to bypass it.. limewire worked for about 10 minutes on Tor earlier.

I haven't had any success yet. This is way harder than it needs to be. Does anybody else have any ideas to what I could do? I would really like this to work! Thanks!
