Tor is awesome, but many sources state it shouldn't be used for p2p.

I wish Tor would run as a server whenever the "client" portion is loaded; similar to how any other "p2p" application works, once you are connected, you are "sharing" and using the system.

But I think it's more of a trust issue; they don't want just any random person being able to set up a node (i.e: for logging or wahtever....)

Has anyone found any ports that actually work? I'd like to try using Tor and Privoxy, but want to be sure that there's a port that I'll be able to go through first?

A very high port number would be my suggestion. Between 9152 - 65535 for example since they are less likely to attract attention or be pre-blocked by anti-p2p isp's. As for which port works with which proxy ???

Cool, thanks! Also, my ISP uses a proxy to connect, so if I change the proxy in Limewire will it still work?
