When I click limewire, nothing happens
 

I have Limewire 4.9 and Windows XP. My internet is working. It worked before, but it suddenly stopped working yesterday so I uninstalled it, then reinstalled it. I see Limewire at the bottom of my screen and in my system tray when I click the shortcut, but I don't see the actual program. Help!

do a complete clean install. do not keep installing/reinstalling over it. Make sure you delete the leftover LW folders/program folder before installing and if in XP I suggest you read this forum and the posts to make adjustments to your XP firewall after the fresh install. Firewalls block downloads/uploads. Read the sticky notes that have been posted on this forum for more info.
