hmmm actually I know what the problem is to the original issue I had but im not sure what the fix is...

like i said before, I am connected through a ADSL router and we have 2 computers running on the same connection (one through usb and the other ethernet). The problem happens when both computers are in use at the same time cause my sister just connected to the internet on the other pc and suddenly the internet stopped/timed out. This was for BOTH PCs. so i turned limewire off and its ok again on both.

soooooo.....when 2 PCs are using the net at the same time something obviously upsets limewire, which upsets the internet. probably a network issue right?

any idea?

I am suprised you can get a ethernet and a usb connection to work at the same time. I have a motorola cable modem and I am not able to make both types work at the same time. That is why I am running the linksys router so I can run multiple PC at a time.
