Unhappy i have the same problem with norton, but no one has helped so far.

hi. i also have a problem with the norton antivirus, but when i open up the main yellow screen of it there isn't anything about firewalls on it. in fact, i can't find anything at all in my whole system that comes from norton that links to firewalls. i've shut off my windows firewall, but that does nothing. i'm completely lost.

Default Firewall & Anti Virus User

Hi yeahnoiknow6

I am a Norton's user, however I am having a problem trying to grasp what you are saying, and your dinky little red writing doesn't help much either.

Please do a repost and try to explain your problem clearly.

when i click on norton on my taskbar, it brings up some sort of menu for the software. no where on this is there any mentions of firewalls and how to disable them. my windows firewall is disabled, but that hasn't done anything for me. i can connect a little bit, but not enough for any search results. how should i go about disabling my firewall..i'm assuming through norton?

Norton anti Virus does not have a firewall in it. Are you using a router

Guys

It seems that yeahnoiknow6's college firewall is blocking P2P communication, unless someone knows away around this and can explain to yeahnoiknow6 in ABC terms then he is stuck.
