Won't connect after I installed last update
 

Okay, I'm a college student. Though it was always kind of slow, I've never had a problem connecting before. After I installed the newest update (4.9.28), it now says it detects a firewall and won't let me connect. I know for certain that I don't have a firewall personally. I guess it could be something to do with the college. It never was a problem before though. We have a wireless network. I am running XP.

Any ideas?

EDIT: I tried this test thingy (http://www3.limewire.com:6346/) and it worked fine.

EDIT #2: Bearshare doesn't seem to work either. Don't know if it ever worked or not.

If you are at school you will have to try to bypass your school's firewall. If you have access that is. all schools now have this to prevent P2P download to save on their bandwidth and so they dont run the risk of getting sued.

But it worked fine until I installed the version yesterday.
