Connection Problems
 

Where to start. I have been trying everything on these boards for 3 days straight. This is absolute crap. I have never connected and have no idea how to. This is a horrible service and the only assistance you seem to get is the chance to upgrade. How in the world can you possibly figure out what the problem actually is. If anyone has any info for me let me know. I have Alltel DSL with a Siemens router. If anyone is using this same service and router please let me know if you have found a way for this to work. I have Microsoft AntiSpyware and Service Pack 3 but have disabled both in attempts to connect with no luck. I have entered port numbers out the a!! Please help

Go to this thread, I was in the same shoes today after Alltel dsl install. After following the directions in the link below, limewire works! (nothing else did.....)
