 Answer To Connection Problems LIKE MANY OTHERS, I WAS UNABLE TO CONNECT TO THIS SUPPOSEDLY BETTER VERSION OF LIMEWIRE. OF COURSE I COULDN'T GET IT TO WORK. AFTER WASTING SO MUCH TIME I ENDED UP GOING TO WWW.OLDVERSION.COM (WONDERFUL WEBSITE) AND I DOWNLOADED THE VERSION I HAD BEFORE ALL THIS STUFF HAPPENED. I AM NOW A HAPPY CAMPER. WHEN THE PROMPT FROM LIMEWIRE COMES UP ASKING IF I WANT TO DOWNLOADED THE NEW VERSION - GUESS WHAT I SELECT **MAKE SURE YOU REMOVE THE NEW VERSION COMPLETELY FROM YOUR PC""" Last edited by ks3nje; September 16th, 2005 at 07:39 AM.  |

| Using obsolete versions is not good for the gnutella network. Older versions have been made unavailable to keep the network working efficiently as it develops. Some older versions also had security issues. |
