 connection issues hi folks, just wondering if anyone can suggest a solution to a problem that has been plaguing me for a few days now. I have recently purchased a Billion BiPAC 7402g adsl modem/router and have a succesful (til now) 512k internet connection through TPG. The router provides a wireless network connection to my pc which is a P3 733MHz with 384Mb RAM and 30G HDD. A little old, but it gets the job done. I have downloaded LimeWire 4.9.30 and cannot seem to establish a connection. I have tried most of the suggestions that have been posted, to no avail. The router was told to port forward(this has been checked and rechecked), the firewall(ZoneAlarm Pro) has been configured to allow LimeWire full access, I have tried deleting the config files and tried the jar download but could not get it to run in an appropriate fashion. I tried turning Windows firewall and Zonealarm off and disabling AVG anti-virus(will try anything at this stage!). Is there anyone that can help?  |
