Gotta question about downloading the new version

Will it erase my downloads from the older version?And plus it seems today it isnt connecting.....but will someone please let me know if my downloads wont be erased.Thanx

the new LW reads all the old preferences, including the shared and incomplete folders. They aren't touched.

So yes, your downloads are safe during regular updates.
