that's mine, too! A very strange thing happenned before: I tried to start limewire (v4.27) from the shortcut on my desktop, and it had disappeared from view(though still viewable via Windows explorer as on the desktop) I went to the program files folder and tried to start it from there. The message that it had become corrupted & should be reinstalled came up.

I did this (v4.3). This installation corrupted, too. I used the link in the forum (limewire-win?), and this one worked. However, this is the one which disconnects (as determined when I try to run a search "you must connect", the bars on the bottom are red). This happens over and over. The odd thing about it is that the download isn't always paused. Its going far slower than anydownload since I left dialup (about 7 months ago), even when connected, and the speed of the download on the status bar is usually faster than the one shown in the window.

And my who system is unusually, irritatingly draggy.

Aside from specifically assigning port 6346 to limewire today (no apparent difference so far, but its only been about 10 min), there have been no changes at all in my computer setup.
