cant open icon
 

I downloaded limewire, I also have java, when it asked me to allow or block I chose block (mistake) now when i try to open it says cant initialised need to check firewall, my firewall is ticked to allow limewire and even when I disable Norton aswell it will not let me open icon, I have uninstalled and restarted PC and installed again but when I tried downloading it again it does not give me the option to allow/or block, what can I do Regards Sean from Ireland

If you have windows XP then disable your XP firewall (go to the control panel, double click on Windoze Firewall, check the disable box) & configure your Norton firewall instead: *Configuring Norton Internet Security

If still problems then try deleting your LW Preferences folder whilst LW is closed; instructions here: Fixes for Limewire
