![]() I'm running XP Pro SP2, firewall enabled but exceptions already made for Limewire. The only Norton program I have is the school-required Symantec Antivirus. I've been trying to connect with several diff programs at school (Shareaza, Ares Gold, etc.) Limewire is the only one that will even connect when I'm at school, but a search for "britney" turns up 2 results when I should have hundreds. I went home for the weekend, and everything works fine. I'm on dial-up at home though, so there's no point ![]() Several friends can get other p2p programs to run on their comps at school. But some, like me, can't. Gaaah. Anyone know anything about the way that connections are set up/blocked/whatever at universities?? |
