Connection problem with proxy!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Hi, I have problems to connect with the network of Gnutella. I use it with a proxy and nothing happens. LimeWire try to connect me to the network, but it doesn't work. The windows firewall is deactivated. I use LimeWire 4.9.30 und Windows XP Service pack 2.
Can anybody help me, please????????????
