download feature just not working - pls help! I do a search, press download, or double click, and nothing starts. I have disconnected my wireless router and plugged straight into the wall with normal broadband modem to avoid any IP address / permission thingies. I have disabled my Norton firewall / antivirus stuff as well but still nowt. I used to be able to use this without prob, so what the heck is wrong? Do I need to wind something up on the back of my laptop???? Can anyone help?? :-( |

queued If I see queued it is because I don't have an available download slot. Go to preferences or options>downloads>maximum downloads and ensure the number is 1 or more. Don't set the number above 5 or 6 to start with. Then click apply>OK |

@ ridders2000, hotgirl_2001, Could be the license warning thing. In LW go to Tools>Options>+Searching>Basic>tick Show License Warning, then click apply. Then try to d/l something, when the warning box popsup click "always use this answer" then click "yes". For more info go here: Downloading problems after selecting 'Licence' requirement option

hey Only A Hobo and 6Pac - cheers! I went into Tools>options> then pissed about with things for a while - the only thing of significance was that I changed the upload speed to less than 100% maximum of my bandwidth, as I figured it was not allowing any bandwidth for downloads. Cheers for your suggestions as it allowed me to mess within the tools section - hope this helps others!! Oh by the way, my mate's copy of limewire pro didn't work, but i checked my bovered box and it was empty... |
