Hello,

Hope someone can help. I have been using Limewire Basic for quite some time, and upgraded when neccessary. I realised with every upgrade I had more and more difficulty connecting to the network. Last night I finally decided to use Pro as I figured that would help with the connection issue. I currently use:

Limewire Pro 4.9.33
Java 1.5.0_05

I disconnected the windows firewall and even uninstalled Norton Internet Security. Once I unistalled Norton and launched limewire my connection was great and even reached turbo for about 5 minutes before it disconnected again. I also noticed that the little firewall icon was gone. However, when I tried to relaunch limewire the firewall icon was back and I could not connect again. For some reason the file that I had started to download was still downloading, although there was no established connection. I also tested the www3.limewire.com:6346 site and the test worked. I don't know what else to do. I'm so frustrated. I have been working on this all night. Please help!!! :0)
