Thanks for the help, I finally got it to work. Turns out I hadn't added Gnutella to the Windows Firewall appropriately. But it was only on for about 3 hours today then it disconnected itself and returned to the previous problem where it stays on Starting Connection. I'm obviously not very good with computers but it seems alot of people have the same problem with it disconnecting itself. I downloaded about 25 songs while it was on, I guess beggars really can't be choosers.
