Connection Problems Problems getting the LimeWire or WireShare program connecting to the Gnutella network.

![]() ok when i try to start LW i get the message"LimeWire was unable to initialize and start. This is usually due to a firewall program blocking LimeWire's access to the internet or loopback connections on the local machine. Please allow LimeWire access to the internet and restart LimeWire." So what do I do?? read a great number of threads to no avail Running XP sp2 XP firewall is set as Exceptions-LimeWire.exe Advanced-Loacal Area Connection-settings-gnutella{127.0.0.1/6346/tcp} gnutella{127.0.0.1/6346/udp} I am running no other firewalls port6346 is not blocked version is4.9.37 oh and i did have it running for a while with an excellent connection then this help me |
