![]() I recently updated my limewire to the newest version, and now when i try to open it is says something along the lines of "Limewire was unable to initialize a start... usually due to a firewall... please allow access to the internet and try again.." I have allowed access through Zone Alarm and through Windows firewall (even though its not activated) but it still wont work. I followed the instructions on the LW support page. I allowed acces through Zone Alarm, and the site said when the "allow javaw.exe access" pops up to say yes, but mine never popped up, so i added it into ZA and allowed access in case. Still doesnt work. Im using Windows XP, not sure how much memory etc but it is a fairly new computer. I was able to connect no problems at all on the older limewire version. Amy. |
