Remember Limewire is a P2P service.

You aren't downloading off any server, your downloading from someone else.

Did you try downloading from multiple sources?

If you only download from one source, you have the risk of
1) Low download speeds
2) getting disconnected at 99% and source leaves cause they are bored inconsiderate baffoons.
