popup at startup?
 

when i start up limewire i always get a small pop up box on my screen which says ' could not find registration key'
until i click 'ok' in this box limewire wont start, after this it all works just fine.
i was wondering if anyone knows whats causing this little pop up ?

No I don't but it sounds like you have registry issues. Perhaps a previous version of LW still has some registry settings left over, else LW didn't install properly. You could run a program like CCleaner http://www.ccleaner.com/

hmm, iv'e only ever installed Limewire once so it cant be from a previous instillation...
it's nothing too bad because it all runs perfectly after i click on the 'ok' it's just a bit annoying lol

would it be an idea to uninstall it and install again or is it best to just leave it do you think?

Yes you can try that. I would recommend getting the "Offline" installer version. Sometimes installing over the net causes problems so the offline installation can take away those risks. The installer will uninstall the previous version itself at the beginning of the installation process.
