![]() I've tryed methods on this forum to get connected but i'm still having trouble. I'm Running Windows XP. Limewire used to work great, always Turbo Charged now i can't even get connected. I'm pretty sure it's not my firewall either but i could be wrong. PLEASE HELP ME!!!! ![]() |

![]() I've got the newest versions of Limewire and Java Connectioin type :dsl connecting from ( home Broadband Modem RCA Theres a Norton and a Windows firewall active on my computer but i'm pretty sure it allows limewire to go through both |

![]() Disable your XP firewall!!! Norton & XP firewall are known to conflict with each other. Besides, XP's firewall isn't so good. 1. Go to the control panel, double click on Windows Firewall, check the disable box. 2. * Configuring Norton Internet Security (click on link) What brand & model of connection devices do you use? Birdy asked you about that, as it may be part of your problem. |
