Connecting through proxy
 

Hello, I connect to the internet through a proxy server. I do not have a direct internet connection from my computer- rather, I have a second computer in my house which is connected to the internet running a proxy server which I connect to. No matter what settings I select in Limewire, I cannot connect. I have tried Socks v4, v5, and http. (My server is v5 and has support for ftp, gopher, http, so on..)

What's wrong?

I'm having the same problem . Help would greatly be appreciated. Im using the Analogx proxy. I can get limewire to work perfectly on my other PC which connects directly to the internet. However, I can't get it to connect on the computer which connects to the internet using a proxy. Both PC's are windows XP Pro SP2.
