disconnect from internet.. only when lime wire is on
 

I read some on the connection trouble post and found this.. my answers are found in line.

I admitedly run my computer hard .. with several programs running at the same time . and several windows open..

however .. untill a few weeks ago.. I never had a problem
Can you give us a total description of your set up:
1. OS version? XP home
2. What firewalls you have? windows
3. How much ram? 512
4. Hard Disk space available? 55gig
5. Connection type? ( broadband, )
6. Modem & router brand name & model numbers?
Terayon tj 715 modem/ cable provider
Dlink Di 524 router

7. Where are you trying to connect from (home )
8. What version of Limewire (LW) 4.10.0
& Java do you have? (1.5.0_04)
9. Who is your ISP provider? ( cox cable)
10. Are you sharing the connection with other computers yes.. the other computer is the host and is not bothered by loss of internet connection.
11. Do this simple test for us. Using your browser go here: http://www3.limewire.com:6346/ The page should say 'Your test worked!'.
What happens when you go there?
my results 'Your test worked!'
These details are vital if you want us to find out what your connection problem is.

* Did you configure your firewall so it allows LW full access
Yes I did...

12. Do This test, Is the result True/False?

I hope this is enough information.. to get started at least..

I can be on line for days..l and not get kicked off the internet connection.. then with in an nour or 2 ( or less some times ) of turning on the lime wire program.. My connection is distupted.. I can "repair connection " some times. .and get it back.. and other times I must reboot.
