hi iv been using limewire basic for about 6 months and it all worked fine until i installed a wireless router and created a home network connecting 2 pcs (mine the wired pc) and my sisters (the pc connected vby the wireless adapter), the connection too the internet is fine but wenever i try nd connect too limewire it doesnt seem too be able too detect my internet connection, do i have too change any settiungs on limewire? can someone please reply or pm mee thanx

So ... what's the brand & model of the router you got? We can't help much without that type of info!!!

How many of you are using LW or should I ask, how many computers are using lw possibly at the same time or not?

i have a TRENDNET WIRELESS ROUTER.
TEW-424UB.
2 PCS. MINE IS THE SECOND.
and i can connect.
no bars.
and then i disabled all firewalls and it says Lime wire has detected a firewall.

Are you connected via USB? See if you can log into the web page for the modem -> use either 192.168.1.1 or http://192.168.1.1 & see what options there are. Look for UPnP (Universal Plug & Play.) If you find it, enable it.

Also, did you configure your firewall so it allows LW full access (advisable not to have 2 active firewalls b/c they can interfere with each other); Firewall configuration instructions (click on link)
