Angry limewire keeps starting up on its own
can someone help me my limewire keeps starting up, i close it out and it just starts right back up, i checked on the home page where it says under options very last in line something about unchecking system start up or something, i dont see that there, all i see is connect on startup, but this just connects me to the network, can someone please help me!!!!!!!!!!!

There's a sticky (in red) at the top of this section about LW popping up & opening at system startup.

Reading the stickies before you post can save you a lot of time

ive read those lil stickys and they havent helped, i done a virus scan nothing, in my avance menu under options this is all that is listed
preferencing
firewall config
proxy

i see nothing to uncheck for system startup
sorry to keep bothering

Did you try deleting your LW preferences folder? Instructions are within this thread:

yo i'm having the same problem even after i deleted the limewire folder.
