Connection goes away

This is kind of crazy whenever I use lime wire 4.10.3 it sucks my connection away I use other trading programs so IM pretty sure it's not my ISP. Here's the story when IM using lime wire it starts out fine after a short while I get a message saying I have no internet connection and it"s true my email program wont connect and I cant load any web pages I think I probably have enough bandwidth 1.5 meg DSL not the best but okay . If I shut down lime wire takes a minute then my connection is fine again. Oh in case it maters I have windows XP pro edition. Any help would be appreciated Thanks again

LimeWire has a bug that if you are downloading to many files or doing to many simultaneous searches while downloading it will kill your connection. Try to limit to 2 or 3 consecutive DL and do limited searching while downloading also do not have more than 1 or 2 files searching for sources while downloading.

The link below is about this problem.

You can help the Developers of LimeWire figure this problem out by doing stack traces the link below is how to do them with the new versions of LimeWire.

They are currently working on it but I do not know if they are even close to a fix or not.

Unfortunately I do not know of a fix for this problem. I know the Developers are working on it you can help by taking stack traces and posting them on the Beta page. They are looking at traces from the( com.limegroup.gnutella.io. )choose this function while ruining. Let it run 10 to 15 sec. at a time and post the report in the beta section.

Not sure if this is right place to post this but when I sign on to Limewire 4.10.3 it get on OK but after a few seconds (time varies from 1 sec to up to 40 secs) the program simply closes down. I go to the Limewire folder in my Programs and find an hs_err_pid for every time it goes down
"An unexpected error has been detected by HotSpot Virtual Machine"
EXCEPTION_ACCESS_VIOLATION (0xc0000005) at pc=0x7c910c27, pid=720, tid=3364
#
# Java VM: Java HotSpot(TM) Client VM (1.5.0_01-b08 mixed mode)
# Problematic frame

There is a lot different information provided and error message number is different each time.
I uninstalled and installed java. I have added Gnetulla to my exception list on the firewall. Don't know what else to do.
any suggestions

I am using XP home
I have AVGFree for a virus program
Microsoft antispyware beta
Ad-Aware SE Personal
Spyware Doctor
Registry Mechanic
Any ideas? All help is appreciate.

Thank you Grandpa. You obviously did some research to find this. I attempted to workarounds but I was still not successful. The JRE is installed correctly and i was able to test it fine. I also have the latest version of JRE. I must assume that the applet or application may contain programming errors or bugs that caused the JVM to crash.
Sun states that there could be many reasons for the JVM crash. They are currently investigating the exact root cause of this problem.
Guess I will need to wait until they find the "exact root cause". Again, thank you very much for your time and effort. If anyone else is experiencing this issue and found a fix or workaround let me know
Jim
