Angry connecting with dial up

In the lower left corner of the limewire window, 1 of the 5 bars are green. Does this mean i'm connected to the network because when i search for somethign, no results are returned. I was just curious if limewire is possiable with dial up and just doesnt work well, or am im not connected? any feedback would help a lot. thanks

Yes. LimeWire works just fine with dial-up, unless you are running America Online, in such a case, it will run REALLY slowly, BUT it will work, just be sure to have UPnP enabled.

Generally, UPnP is usually set to "ON". And if you only have 1/5 bars, it means that its attempting to make a connection, tell me.. what ISP do you have, by that, whats your provider, AOL, Netzero, etc etc. I can help you further after i know what it is.
