Wireless connection ????/Limewire
 

ok, i have a Laptop that has a Built in wireless card, and where i live i have several accounts i can tap into. I dont pay for these accounts, but i use them all the time to look at my email, and do other things. I understand that people could get my stuff from this, although its more unstable for them correct? But hell, whats on this Laptop are college papers, and some music, nothing more.
I have never looked at the bank on it, or done anything finacial with it (there are no CC#'s or bank codes on this at all)..

At the University i go to as well, they have a open Wireless connection..they say you have to go sync your PC with them, and get some code to get into it. But i just popped my laptop open, turned on the wireless card thingy, and boom, i was in, no problem. ...it got me thinkin...

If you DL music from Limewire from "Someone Elses" Wireless Connection, or a University connection, could they trace it back to you? Im not talkin about 1000 songs at a time, but a few daily, and everyonce an awhile...If its safe, it seems that its not a bad idea...seems like no trace camping...

anyone have any thoughts on that...thanks~
