 Can't even start Limewire I've looked all around and can't find help. First off, what I know: 1:my ISP dosen't block the port the limewire uses. It is Newroads Telecom and I'm unsure if they block P2P sharing. 2:I have no firewall. I know this because wen I play a game of Doom2 with a friend, I have to host because he has I firewall and I don't. when I try to start limewire, I get the logo thing, then after a few seconds I get a window that says: "Limewire was unable to initialize and start. This is usually due to a firewall program blocking Limewire's access to the internet or loopback connnections on the local machine. Please allow Limewire access to the internet and restart Limewire." The only other clue is the part about loopback connections, but I don't even know what that is or what I would do about it. Has anyone else seen this error, and can anyone help me?  |
