![]() ive had it with limewire. i use to think it was the best thing since napster. anyway i have tried everything on this forum to fix my connection problem. the problem i have is when i load up limewire and click connect all i ever get is 'starting connection' it never connects and i have done everything in my power to resolve this. LW worked fine for me until i decided to upgrade once i did it never worked again. Normally upgrades are suppose to be an improvment but with LW it seems to just make the program worse. i appoligize for the long thread but ive worked for 2 weeks now trying to fix this problem and its just not worth it. i now use emule and im having no problems with connections. if anyone can offer some help on how to get LW working again. that would be great. |

![]() You've probably read this, but just in case: http://www.gnutellaforums.com/showth...threadid=51357 Have you configured your firewall for LW (& made sure you're not running 2 firewalls together)? Have you deleted the limewire preferences folder? Have you reinstalled Java & LW using the "offline" installers? Are you getting error messages? Are you seeing the firewall icon? ???????? Rather than having a rant, maybe you could describe your problem exactly, along with exactly what fixes you've tried. No-one can help you unless you give some more info. |
