Computer crashes with new Limewire Installation

I have been using previous version of Limewire for quite some time now without any problems.

Recently, I downloaded the latest version of Limewire and when I tried to connect I got a blue screen and my computer crashed. I checked my NIS 2005 Firewall Settings and Limewire is permitted. I have read messages posted and still can't find anything to be able to help me. I have unistalled Limewire and reinstalled previous versions that were running from my computer and now the same problem has happened. I have had to unistall Limewire from my computer.

I am sure it is a Firewall setting problem with the ports but I am not sure what to do.

I am sure somebody out there has experienced the same problem. Please help as I miss my Limewire

See Limewire and Blue Screen of Death (click on link) as it seems it's not LW as the cause, but LW is acting as the catalyst to start this. The problem itself is either in the hardware or its drivers, or bad ram chip or your fan or inappropriate heatsink not being able to cope with your system.

Lime wire must be the cause. I have had this now for a while but for the past month every time i crash its because lime wire is running. im nit saying everytime im on lime wire i crash just that 100% of my crashes are when i have limewire on and downloading. I only use lime wire every couple of days so i crash almost every couple of days. I keep sending the error reports to microsoft but nothing and its been over a month and i must have sent them like 30 of them by now.

if anyone has any ideals im listening

thanks

Hi ja ruler,
Did you look through LOTR's link in the previous thread? Both LOTR & Grandpa give a heap of advice:)

I wouldn't have a clue, I haven't had this problem:D
Just read through them all, one by one until you find something that helps. Might be a PITA but it might solve your problem!
