Connection Problems
 

I couldn't get my Limewire to connect and after much searching on the forum, I decided to check my Java Runtime Environment on the Java website and discovered that my Java needed updating,(an update came out in January). Mine was well out of date so when I downloaded the update my Limewire connected right away :D. Just thought it was worth posting this in case anyone else has a connection problem that isn't fixed with firewall or ISP settings.

One thing you might want to do is uninstall your old version of Java it does not uninstall when you install a new version and this appears to have created problems from time to time.

You can uninstall it by going to Start/Control Panel/Add and remove Programs. Click on your old version or versions of java and uninstall them just leave the newest version.
