limewire won't connect
 

Limewire won't open it happened when I upgraded mac software. Itunes, security,ipod. It just jumps in the dock then stops the port is open and I checked the java script and firewall I can't seem to be able to find the directory / library

I hope you didn't update your quicktime to 7.0.4 or else that's probably your problem. Go to the Mac OSX sections of the forum & have a look at the Stickies at the top of the section. There's instructions there about what to do about (1) QuickTime, & (2) if necessary, reinstalling Java.

Which OSX version do you have? It helps to know since Jaguar, Tiger & panther, etc. all have differences & run different versions of Java, etc.

As a matter of fact I did upgrade quicktime. I am on 10.3.9

The answer is to use the QT 7.0.1 reinstaller. You'll find a link for it on the forum or at the mac site. It's one of their "top 10" downlds! lol :D :rolleyes:
