The Only Way I Get Around Optimum I have XP and the only way I can get Limewire to work with Optimum is to Uninstall it. Make sure that Limewire is closed. I go to: 1.Start 2.All Programs 3.Limewire and then I select 4.Uninstall. After I uninstall Limewire I go to: 1.Start 2.Search 3.All files and folders and then I type in Limewire and thin hit Search. I then delete everything about Limewire and restart my PC. I then reinstall the program and it works for a few days and then I do it all again. A real pain in the a$$ but it gets the job done. |
Have you spoken to Optimum? ... ... I mean to any one who knows what they are talking about ... It would be good to know what if anything is going on there as there are a lot of posts abot them, and no one really seems to have any answers:) I know you have one answer... but it's not exactly ideal lol:) |
Not Worth It I've read enough posts from those that have called Optimum and have been given the standard answer of "It's not us" so I haven't bothered to call those clowns. |
Lmao ... I'm glad I'm not with them:D:D |
Thanks for the idea Ten but it didn't work for me. I guess is time to switch to asdl. Does anyone know if they are blocking p2p sharing too? I don't want to switchand find out later that adsl is doing the same thing. Please anyone? |
