Computer slows down when Limewire stars up
 

Whenever i start Limewire, my computer slows down extremely. Even though i havent connected yet, my computer has a CPU usage of 97-100%. Can anyone help me on this problem?

i also have the same problem...

whenever i start limewire BASIC (4.10.5) it simply eats up all my cpu usage %...it suddenly goes up to 100%

everything slows down and stuff...

how can i fix this?

this happens to me too and it automatically starts up when I log in so the whole time my comp is slow when i close limewire it just opens again how do i make it not start at start up

BoTtLeE : Without knowing all of what you have tried, I can only suggest uninstalling, run an anti-virus scan, and install an earlier version. If you comp is running slow from the time windows starts try this : use ctrl+alt+del and shut down LW with that (if you can), if it continues to activate itself, restart you comp and run it in "safe mode" and uninstall it then. If it still gives you trouble, well, you're still skunked, kuz thats all i know how to do. Best wishes. Hope this will help *(still with no sign of true solutions in sight)
