lw keeps disconnecting
 
hi everyone
my lime wire is playing up worked in past upgraded to 4.10
and thing went bad
up graded to 4.10.5 running 4.9.33 before this worked well.
xp sp2 norton firewall running on this machine.
lw connects works well then stops and disconnects.
As in other posts i deleted .limewire file restarting lw no diff file .limewire is reinstalled from other posts 4.10.5 should create file limewire in application data?tryed uninstall from add remove and also start menu no luck.
need some help thanks.

What Modem & Router are you using. Also what Network Adapter are you using and driver version. You can find your Network adapter by going to.

Start/Control Panel/System/Hardware/Device Manager/Network Manager in windows classic view.

If you are using category view Start/Control Panel/Performance and Maintenance/Device Manager/Network Adapter.

Once you find the Network Adapter right click your mouse on it then click on properties then driver you will see the driver version and release date.

old version worked up to a few weeks back.

tryed

and it worked fine.
tryed going back to 4.9.33 still get fault
upgrade or something has created problem
other people are using lw with my provider and dont have a problem.
noticed if lw is running i cant get web pages or download email.
if this means anything
Need help or ideas what to try
missing lw.

Can you do a speed test how may files do you have downloading at one time. How many files do you have waiting to start.??
