!!! No Connection !!!

I HAVE BEEN USING LIMEWIRE FOR SOME TIME NOW AND HAVE HAD NO PROBLEMS UNTIL A FEW WEEKS AGO. I CANNOT CONNECT !!! I AM CURRENTLY USING 1.7 FOR MAC. WHAT IS GOING ON AND WHAT IS BEING DONE TO FIX IT ??? IF ANYONE KNOWS OF BETTER FILE SHARING APP FOR MAC THAT I COULD USE UNTIL LIMEWIRE IS BACK UP PLEASE LET ME KNOW. THANX.

no connections

Better check with your internet server. Some of the internet server (Cable America) is blocking the port that LimeWire uses (port 1214) and with that port blocked you cannot connect

HELP!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I have searched every thread and reply for over 2 WEEKS and still I have not been able to fix the connection problem. I have downloaded and redownloaded limewire, and I am beginning to get ****ed. Please help me!?!?!?
