Can't connect no matter what I try!
 

I wish someone could help me connect! I have re-configured my Windows Firewall settings according to the Limewire instructions, I have tried everything I can think of with my Norton configurations. I tried to delete everything and start over, although there were a few things that my computer said " could not be deleted". Can anyone help?:mad:

1. Disable your XP firewall. And then configure your Norton firewall * Configuring Norton Internet Security

2. Make sure your modem/router UPnP option is enabled; see Connection problems? Check here first! (click on link) for the UPnP section or manual port forwarding section.

3. Reinstall Java 1.5 using the "Offline" java installer Java 1.5 (take the JRE)

4. Again, try deleting your LW Preferences folder whilst LW is closed; instructions here: Point #2 & 3 in Fixes for Limewire (sample image included.) And make appropriate settings as required by your hardware.
