new computer set up problems

Hey there, I recently just hooked up my new computer and I tried to download limewire. It seem to download sucessfully but then when I click the icon on my computer it begins to initialize but then stops and nothing happens. I am really fruistrated and not the most comouter literate person. If someone could help me get my limewire back on my new comouter, you will be my new best friend
