Disconnects - requires modem reset...
 

I can surf all day and download as much as I want from various sites. However, the moment I start up Limewire, my internet connection drops. The only thing that fixes it is to reset the modem (unplug and plug back in).

I have had the same problem on three different machines, ranging from a PIII733/512MB/130GB/Intel 100S adapter, to my new Dell I9300 loaded system over wireless. I have a Linksys cable modem connecting me to Mediacom cable internet. My machines connect through a Linksys wireless G router. BOTH HAVE BEEN REPLACED. I was using a wired router, but have upgraded. When I did I got the Linksys modem to match up.

All machines are running Windows XP SP2. I am currently running Limewire basic v.4.10.5. I'm going to try upgrading to 4.10.9 to see if that helps. Any other ideas???
