Blocked Port My cable company is blocking port 1214, that is the port that LimeWire uses on my internet system. I need some help getting past their block. I signed up for unlimited internet access and they have denied my rights to that. They think they are the internet police. Help me find a way to get through or contact me so we can file a class action suit against the Cable company (CABLE AMERICA)(MESA AZ) |
I'm a CableVision subscriber as well. I couldn't figure out why I couldn't connect and now I know why with your post. I'll be happy to join you on getting them to unblock the port. E-mail me what I can do to help. |
CABLE AMERICA I don't know what more to do than to sue the company or change internet companies. It is not what I signed up for. I have spoken to Andrew several times and he says that he doesn't make the decissions. I can never get through to anyone that does. I have emailed them numerous times without response. I have been calling about every other day. Port is still blocked. What really makes me mad is that I signed up for "all that the internet has to offer" and "unlimited internet access" That is a quote from their broadband agreement. Everyone who uses their service has the right to what they were originally given. I had it when I started with them - and as of the 8th of November they took it away. what is next? |
