My limewire has worked fine for more than a year now, but for the past month or so it will no longer stay connected for more then 10 or 15 minutes. The connection status indicator changes from very strong to getting stronger to not connected randomly and if i watch the connections window I can see that it keeps connecting and dropping connections almost continually. Most days it does this until eventually it just disconnects claiming that it appears i no longer have a connection to the internet (but I do). I have not changed my configuration or anything, this situation just developed on its own. Any assistance would be greatly appreciated (and who knows my even earn somebody some Kharma points)

You didn't leave any details about your set up so, how about try deleting your LW Preferences folder whilst LW is closed; instructions here: Point #2 & 3 in Fixes for Limewire (sample image included.)
