cant pass firewall, doing everything right

hey, ive been reading pretty much everything there is online trying to get my problem sorted but it seems as if theres no logical explanation, so hopefully you limewire experts can help me resolve my problematic connection.

the problem is, i cant connect from behind my firewall.

-----------------------------------------------------

on limewire i have:

- set limewire to listen on port 48605
- set limewire to manually port forward port 48605

-----------------------------------------------------

on my hardware firewall i:

- set port forwarding from the outside IP to mine (im behind NAT, with a static IP) for port 48605, both TCP and UDProtocols

- opened port 48605 on the hardware firewall, both UDP and TCP (incoming and outgoing, not sure exactly which is neccessary)

-----------------------------------------------------

on my software firewall (zonealarm), i:

- allowed every request limewire makes to connect to the internet
(it asks to connect on port 1900?, i allowed)

- checked that java.exe doesnt have any red crosses (it doesnt)

-----------------------------------------------------

when i turn my hardware firewall off completely i can connect no problem so its not my isp blocking ports

specs:

os: winxp home
limewire: v4.9.37
firewall: software - zonealarm 6.1
firewall: hardware - billion bipac 7400

-----------------------------------------------------

Many many thanks to anyone who can help me on these issues, im very frustrated atm.
